The Egg – A Womb of One’s Own

Lena Grobusch

Installation

A cocoon-shaped space inviting reflection on femininity and political embodiment.

This work explores phases of female corporeality—ovulation, pregnancy, menstruation—as sites of control and resistance. The womb becomes a political battlefield. In this cocoon-like installation, visitors are invited to return, sit, listen, and feel. What does comfort mean when bodies are expected to give, endlessly?
